The Ocean is Just too Big!

I absolutley LOVE the water!!!! Even when it's storming - I love to watch the rain drops hit the water. I find that when I'm around water whether it's as powerful as the ocean or as calm as the river, my soul is calmed. I love the water!

One of my favorite animals is the dolphin. Do you know that as often as I see dolphins swimming that I've never seen a dolphin swim by itself. (Actually, if you see a lone dolphin, you better make sure it's not a shark)Dolphins swim together. Dolphins play together. Dolphins hunt together. It is a remarkable thing to watch dolphins fish. They swim very fast in a circle - around and around. This creates a whirlpool causing the school of fish to be confused making it easy to devour them. Dolphins don't venture on their own. It seems that they know that the ocean is just too big to swim all alone!!!!

What a great reminder - if the dolphins know to swim together - how important is it for me to "swim" with others as well. I'm so, so thankful for my family and close friends that are "swimming the big ocean of life" with me. I wouldn't make it without you!!!
